The Great Big Easter Egg Hunt
Lewes Town Council and The Mayor of Lewes are hosting a Giant Easter Egg Hunt in Lewes from 30 March – 3 April, fundraising for Lewes Foodbanks.
Run wild as you ‘eggsplore’ the best bits of our town – from iconic historic sites and green spaces to leisure and retail spaces in the town centre. There are 20 colourful eggs to track down, and you’ll get a tasty chocolate treat at the end!
When is the Easter Egg Hunt happening?
The Great Big Easter Egg Hunt will run between 10am and 3.30pm each day between Saturday 30 March and Wednesday 3 April 2024.
Where is the Easter Egg Hunt?
We’ve hidden giant colourful Easter eggs all around the Town Centre for you to find – in shops, parks, open spaces and historical landmarks!
Before you start searching, you’ll need to visit our stall in the pedestrian precinct to pick up a map and entry form. Once you’ve finished, head back again to claim your prize. Yum!
Who can take part?
The Easter Egg Hunt is open to everybody! Entry costs £3 per person and includes a chocolate prize.
What prizes are there? Do you have vegan/allergy safe options?
All participants in the Easter Egg Hunt can collect a chocolate-y prize from our stall in the pedestrian precinct – just show us your completed entry form!
Prizes are available on a first come, first served basis, so we can’t guarantee which eggs we’ll have available. Our selection includes Cadbury Mini Eggs, Cadbury Freddo, Smarties, and KitKat Chunky.
We also have a vegan alternative which is suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.
Chocolatey prizes for all participants
(Vegan, nut free and gluten free option available)
