Nicky first visited the town in her teens, made friends and finally moved here in 2009. They are an arts professional and have been involved with a number of projects in and around the Town. Nicky co-runs a thriving midscale theatre company, making work across the UK for family audiences, as well as mentoring and training fellow theatre practitioners and organisations.
Nicky has been a school governor with oversight of SEN, and is therefore passionately committed to access and inclusion. She’s been involved locally with gardening initiatives, litter-picking
and other campaigns, and helps out at the Lewes Friday Market. Nicky is a beekeeper, with an apiary in Ditchling, a lifelong love of the natural world, and a desire to promote biodiversity and a sustainable future for the generations to come.
