Role

This working party makes recommendations for service expenditure budgets and considers amendments to fees and charges.

Remit:

• The Finance Working Party comprises six members, who are not also appointed to the Audit and Governance Panel
• The working party will meet initially in late October/early November with additional meetings as required, to make recommendations to the December meeting of council for service expenditure budgets; amendments to fees and charges, and a council tax precept value for the coming year
• Should additional meetings be required, these must allow for final recommendations to be made to council no later than the January meeting
